  so I purchased 2 18.9L and paid my 12 dollar "deposit" on each bottle over a year ago. the one I didn't need and returned it with out the receipt and they could only give me half the "deposit" back so I got 6 dollars. I eventually found the receipt and wanted to return the other bottle. Now they don't refund your money at all. what kind of scam are they trying to pull here. if your not going to refund some ones "deposit" than don't charge them for the bottle in the first place. but they will loose money right? That is why the deposit is there right? which is why they should take their bottles back. so they can wash them and redistribute them. I could see them not returning a refund for broken or damaged containers. but this is just nonsense. I'll never go back again. Alpine Water store left a bad taste in my mouth.
